Welcome back to the VAPT psychoanalytic film series! Have you missed us? We've sure missed you.
Our first film of 2021 is going to look a little different. Thanks to the DHHS RANZCP Workforce Support grant we’ve been able to shift to a bigger cinema, but we’ll still be bringing you the screening, the chats and the catchups. You don’t mess with perfection.
"Only The Animals" (2019) is a tense French tangle, weaving together 5 characters narratives after a woman's car is found abandoned on the road in a snow storm.
Leading the post film discussion will be:
Dr Paul Cammell, who needs little intro (but here it is anyway). The chair of advanced psychotherapy training, Paul works as a public consultant in Melbourne whilst running his private practice. He has an extensive background in philosophy, has written the book (literally a thesis) on BPD and possesses a vast knowledge of film.
Second speaker TBC (soon).
As always, we love mates (feel free to bring yours, especially if they are from other disciplines!). Tickets are only $9 plus a small booking fee. They’re limited and can be nabbed here:
